How to play Goal Kick

Point to aim, hold to set power, release to strike. The keeper dives after you shoot. A goal scores; a save or a miss wide costs a life. Pick a side the keeper is not already shading.

Controls

Move the pointer to aim. Hold to charge power, release to strike. Keyboard players can use Space for the charge once aim is set. The keeper dives after the ball is away.

Scoring and lives

A goal scores, more if the ball is well placed in a corner. A save, a post, or a ball that never reaches the net costs a life. Three lives per session.

Habits that raise the ceiling

Pick a side before you charge. Watch the keeper’s idle shade, then shoot the other way at a remembered power. Change only aim or only power after a miss.

Common mistakes

  • Aiming at the keeper’s current chest and hoping
  • Charging to maximum on every kick
  • Moving the aim while the charge is already running

A two-minute drill

Take eight kicks where you freeze aim first. If the line feels wrong, abort the charge. The drill is the order, not the goal count.
