How to play Gap Drop

A wall slides down with one opening. Tap where you want to stand, or step with the arrows. If you are not in the gap when the wall reaches you, you lose a life. Later walls are faster and the gap is narrower.

Controls

Tap the track to stand there, or use arrow keys / A D to step. There is no jump. The wall has one gap. Be inside it when the wall reaches you.

Scoring and lives

Each wall you pass is a point. Gaps shrink and walls speed up with score. Missing the gap costs a life. Three lives.

Habits that raise the ceiling

Move as soon as you see the gap, then hold still. Late slides into a shrinking hole are how runs end. Center yourself in the gap, not on the edge.

Common mistakes

  • Waiting until the wall is close before you move
  • Standing on the painted edge of the gap
  • Flicking back and forth instead of picking a spot

A two-minute drill

Survive ten walls while moving only once per wall. If you correct a second time, that wall does not count.
