Page count is not the product

A directory of three hundred thin canvases is easy to generate and hard to stand behind. Thirty-eight original HTML5 games, each with a playbook, a guide, a family, and a contrast line, is a catalog. The number will move when a batch is ready. It should not move because a template needed more URLs.

AdSense’s low-value label often tracks the first pattern. We would rather be late than wrap embeds. Original-games-not-wrapped-embeds is the longer argument. This is the count.

Every title has to survive a cousin test

If you cannot say how Endless Runner is not Lane Switch, one of them is redundant. The home index is that test in public: one sentence per title that names the neighbor it is not. When a new batch arrives, each new line has to pass the same test.

Families exist so the test has a place to fail. A family of six identical hops would be a screenshot of the problem. We would cut before we published.

Play three well

Sampling all thirty-eight once is a tour. Learning three verbs is a sitting habit. The journal’s week of sittings and the first-minute checklist are how a tour becomes a habit without turning into a grind.

When the number changes, the home page should still list every title once. Featured rows that repeat the same six games are how a catalog starts to look like copies. The full arcade section is the promise: one card, one family, one contrast line.
