Read the next two cars, not the hood
Neon Rally is a 3D night highway built in BrainBounce’s chunky perspective engine. Your cyan car drives forward on its own. Tap a third of the road, or use arrows and A/D, to change lanes. There is no jump, no brake, and no weapon. A box in your lane is a hit. A box in a neighbor lane that you pass cleanly is a near miss.
A hit costs a life. Three lives. Near misses add a combo multiplier. Overtakes score even without a graze. Speed rises with the score, so later traffic uses the same cars with less time to read them. Combos are entertainment. They have no cash value and do not restore a heart.
Near misses are optional paint
Look two cars ahead. Center is home when both edges are busy. A graze you already saw can be worth taking. Swerving every frame to farm the multiplier is how a sitting becomes a slot. If the loop feels urgent, that is by design—set a timer before you start, and honor it.
The 3D camera is a depth cue, not a crash movie. Buildings are scenery. We did not add wrecks or a wanted meter. If perspective motion makes you dizzy, pause or pick a still puzzle. The title is rated 8+ for cartoon peril and motion, not as a babysitter. It is not directed at children under 13.
Stop when the combo feels like a nag
After a loss, name the car. Late lane change, farmed graze, or staring at the hood are different mistakes. Instant restarts rehearse the same error. The playbook drill is four clean overtakes with grazes ignored, then one sitting with a single graze per pass.
Lane Switch is the flat cousin: three roads, crates, no perspective. If you wanted that, open it. Neon Rally is for people who like an overtake in depth and who can close the tab when the combo starts asking for one more try.
