How to play Sky Hop
Your hopper bounces on every platform it lands on. Steer left and right to catch the next ledge as the camera climbs. Falling below the screen costs a life, while height and mid-air coins build the score.
Controls
Move with Arrow keys, A and D, or by dragging on the playfield. The hopper bounces automatically when it lands. There is no extra jump button. Falling below the camera costs a life.
Scoring and lives
Height is the score. Coins on some platforms add extras. Speed is not a separate meter; the climb itself is the difficulty as gaps drift. Three lives, then the run ends.
Habits that raise the ceiling
Steer during the rise, not after you see the miss. Keep the hopper near center until a ledge forces a commit. Skip a distant coin if the next platform is already leaving the screen.
Common mistakes
- Chasing a coin off the edge of a thin ledge
- Holding one direction until you fly past every platform
- Looking at the hopper instead of the next two ledges
A two-minute drill
Climb until you have bounced on ten platforms without collecting a coin. Height without greed is the lesson. Then allow coins only when they sit on your path.
