How to play Meteor Tap

Meteors drop toward the ground. Tap each one to smash it for a point. Any meteor that lands costs a life. The rain gets thicker as your score climbs, so keep your eyes on the next rock, not the last one you hit.

Controls

Tap a meteor to smash it. There is no drag slash; each tap hits one rock. Keyboard players can still tap with a pointer. Meteors that reach the ground line cost a life.

Scoring and lives

Each smash is one point. Speed and spawn rate rise with score. Three lives. A ground hit clears the sky so you can see the next wave.

Habits that raise the ceiling

Hit the lowest meteor first. High rocks still have time. Do not wait for a cluster to bunch if one of them is already near the ground.

Common mistakes

  • Tapping the top of the sky while a low meteor is about to land
  • Chasing every new spawn instead of the closest threat
  • Watching the score instead of the ground line

A two-minute drill

Play one life where you only tap the lowest meteor on screen. Count how many you smash before a lander gets through.
